Queen's Award for Enterprise - International Trade 2007

Perlast Limited (part of the Precision Polymer Engineering group of companies) received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2007, the UK’s leading accolade for business success.
The award, in the category of International Trade, reflects the company’s export earnings which have increased by 98% during the last three years, with export sales accounting for over 80% of total revenue.
The award was presented to the Company at a special ceremony by the Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire - the local representative of HM The Queen. Representatives from the company also attended a winners’ reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Duke of York.

Queen's Award for Enterprise - Innovation 2006

Perlast Limited (part of PPE) received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2006 for Innovation, for its PERLAST® G67P perfluoroelastomer material.
Developed over a number of years, PERLAST® G67P was the first high purity, translucent perfluoroelastomer material on the market, which represented a huge step-change in critical sealing technology within the semiconductor industry.
The award recognises Perlast's leading-edge materials for sealing applications and the exceptional team of chemists and research scientists who skillfully blend fluorine chemistry expertise with Perlast’s proprietary polymer science and knowledge management capabilities.

Investors in People

Perlast/PPE attained the Investors in People (IIP) accreditation in 2002. The IIP Standard provides a framework that helps organisations to improve performance and realize objectives through the effective management and development of their people.
