Expansion Plan Completed

Perlast occupies a four acre site in Blackburn, England along with its sister company Precision Polymer Enginering Limited. The modern purpose-built 3,500 sq.m (37,600 sq.ft) manufacturing facility (pictured above) was completed in 2003.

Our recent expansion project was completed ahead of schedule and on budget in April 2009. It has involved increasing the site to a total of circa 6,000 sq.m. of useable covered space for production, laboratory, administration and training operations.

In addition to expanded production areas which offer considerably enhanced manufacturing capabilities, a major expansion of our laboratory facilities gives us substantially improved capacity for materials testing and allows for more advanced, industry-leading analytical work on material development with customers.
There is provision for extensive facilities for both employee and customer training - offering a solid infrastructure to promote strong professional development, benefiting both customers and the Company.

Perlast has:

• a sister company in Aberdeen serving the oil and gas sector

• sales operations in California serving the semiconductor and other critical sectors

• sales operations in Europe and Asia serving a wide range of industries.
